Last October, Dark Shadow Ghost Tours took a group to the Warehouse on the Canal for Victorian Wake and a ghost tour (and we did a little hunting). In the basement of the building, there is a paranormal vortex which allows spirits to enter and exit our realm. Helen (their residential medium) says that there is a spirit name "Lester" who protects then not letting bad spirits to enter the building.

The Haunted Roger's House Added
Not only is this location quite interesting, there is still some mystery surrounding the history of the building. There are stories that the house was built in 1884 for a Judge, while public records indicate that it was building in 1910. The problem with the public records is they don't go back farther than 1910. If you examine the foundation of the home, you can tell that it was built before the 1900's; also with the architecture and layout of the house it was a home for a prominent family.
To find out more about this location, as the history is being researched and posted, please be sure to visit and follows the blog site setup specifically for this home.

The Haunted Rogers Rogers House: Review of EVP Evidence
On February 22, 2014, The Dark Shadow Ghost Tours/PANICd core team
traveled to the Haunted Rogers House to conduct a preliminary research
of the property to see if the location would be a good fit for future
tours and to determine if the location should be inducted into the
PANICd.com database.
During our investigation we recorded several hours of audio on different recorders and since then Andrea Rufner, a team member, has been reviewing the audio evidence. This is a very tedious process to listen to the different recordings and tag the evidence when something is found.
Based on some of her findings, I have decided to conduct a little interview with her about this location and her experience in the review of the audio evidence. The following is the result of that interview:

Exploring Atlanta’s Past-Oakland Cemetery
On November 23, 2013, PANICd.com researchers visited Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, Georgia.
When one first passes through the arches of the cemetery and they take their first look around, it is as if you stepped through a time portal into the past.

K-II Meter
One of my favorite pieces of equipment to investigation with is the K-II meter. The K-II meter can be used to pick up on Electromagnetic fields, or EMFs, which are emitted by electrical devices of all types. EMFs are everywhere, originating form appliances, cell phones, electrical wiring, and even the human body.
