K-II Meter

kii

One of my favorite pieces of equipment to investigation with is the K-II meter.  The K-II meter can be used to pick up on Electromagnetic fields, or EMFs, which are emitted by electrical devices of all types.  EMFs are everywhere, originating form appliances, cell phones, electrical wiring, and even the human body.

The K-II EMF Meter helps measure these fields to identify appliances that produce high-level emissions, allowing investigators to make informed decisions about limiting exposure.  EMF fluctuations have also been associated with locations where unexplained phenomena have been reported, included alleged hauntings.  The K-II operates on a single 9V batter, and reports EMF measurements in five milliGauss ranges.
It is believed that spirits need to high levels of energy in order to manifest or communicate.  Therefore; when a spirit is present and trying to manifest, it can produce an EMF spike.  Some have used these detectors as communications devices as well.  Similar to EVP sessions, there has been documented evidence where spirits can make the K-II meters activate on command or while investigators are asking questions.
I mostly use this device to detect any high EMF readings in areas where there are constant reported claims.  It is medically proven that high or prolong EMF exposure can cause headaches, anxiety, a feeling of being watched or not alone, depression, fatigue, sleeping disorders and nausea, and there have been reports of hallucinations and suicides.  Older homes that have outdated wiring can produce high EMF fields.
The main thing I like about this device is that it is small, can fit in your pocket, and if you get EMF readings at locations where there are no electrical devices or power, it is possible that you are picking up on some other paranormal phenomena.

To best use this device, you should start off your investigations sweeping the areas you will be investigation and document your base readings.

If there is a fluctuation in readings, then try to debunk items within the environment that may be causing the device to record higher levels.

I have used this device on investigations in the past where the EMF field has traveled and I was able to follow the path of the field.

Do you have any experience using this device?  If so, please leave a comment below.
